Alfalfa weevils have begun hatching

   

Alfalfa weevils have begun hatching. These pests defoliate the plant by consuming terminal leaves and skeletonizing new leaves.

Agronomy Field Specialist for the University of Missouri extension office, Wayne Flanary, says the alfalfa weevil is a small green worm.
